SUPPLY OF STATE-OF-THE-ART SCANNER FOR DISASTER RESCUE

A USAR (Urban Search and Rescue) team consists of professionals specialized in the search, location, and rescue of individuals trapped or missing in urban areas or collapsed structures due to natural disasters or emergency situations. The primary objective of a USAR team is to locate, stabilize, and rescue trapped individuals, providing basic medical assistance and safely evacuating them.

The GIRECAN team (International Group for Rescue in Natural Disasters) is made up of 30 professionals, ensuring the full availability of at least 15 to 18 people 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. These specialists include canine handlers, nurse practitioners, firefighters, logisticians, and other emergency experts.

The ITURRI Foundation has donated a high-sensitivity rescue tool to the GIRECAN organization. This tool is used in situations involving structural collapse or natural disasters, with the aim of carrying out rescues as effectively as possible. In emergency situations, working swiftly can make a difference and save lives.
