A Fire Truck for Fastiv: New Humanitarian Aid Delivery to Ukraine
The war in Ukraine, now entering its fourth year, continues to cause a severe humanitarian and environmental crisis. In regions like Fastiv, located in the center of the country, bombings have increased the risk of fires in silos and warehouses storing highly flammable grain—essential for food security.
In response, Fundación ITURRI, in collaboration with Bomberos Unidos Sin Fronteras (BUSF), has delivered a Renault water tanker fire truck with a 9,000-liter capacity to Ukraine’s State Fire Company No. 30, aiming to strengthen their emergency response capabilities.
👉 The vehicle, donated by BUSF and refurbished by ITURRI with its own funds, will be transported to Ukraine by the Fundación Centro Español de Ucrania, with support from the Embassy of Ukraine in Spain.
The handover ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Spain, as well as representatives from BUSF, ITURRI, and the Fundación Centro Español de Ucrania.
