Himali Boarding School, an educational institution committed to the holistic development of its students, hosts nearly 400 students aged 2 to 17 daily. Of these, 100 are boarders, 50 are sponsored by various associations, 62 receive free education, and the rest belong to local families who contribute according to their economic capabilities. Himali Boarding School receives support from the Spanish association MIM Ayuda, which is responsible for project management and fundraising for the school, and has been working on various projects in Nepal since 2012.
The Himali team consists of 42 part-time and full-time staff, including 3 directors, 29 teachers, and 10 employees dedicated to maintenance, cleaning, and cooking. This team strives to provide quality education and a safe and welcoming environment for all students.
The main objectives of this educational project are:
– To make essential investments for the maintenance and improvement of the facilities, ensuring the safety, hygiene, and proper care of the children.
– To train and support the management team to strengthen the school’s administration and leadership.
– To generate sustainable funding sources through fundraising activities, ensuring the continuity and expansion of the project.
