SUPPORT FOR RESEARCH ON EARLY DETECTION OF AUTISM IN INFANTS

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurobiological developmental disability that affects communication and the interaction of individuals with their environment. The Autismo Sevilla Association works to build an inclusive society where people with disabilities, especially those with ASD, do not have their opportunities for social participation limited. This, in turn, helps improve the quality of life for individuals with autism and their families.

One of the most innovative projects in this area is bbMiradas, which has been funded by the ITURRI Foundation. This project aims to early identify children who exhibit warning signs in their social and communicative development. Through specialized early intervention, the goal is to facilitate access for these children and their families to the necessary resources for comprehensive development and improved quality of life. Early detection and appropriate support are essential to ensure a more inclusive and promising future for them and their families.
