The Volunteer Point has arrived in Seville for the first time after eight successful editions in Madrid. The event, organized by Voluntare, aims to establish alliances between companies and social organizations to promote corporate volunteering as a tool for social transformation.
Since its inception in 2019, eight editions of the Volunteer Point have been held, with six of them in-person in Madrid and two online. The last four editions were carried out in collaboration with the Botín Foundation. This event has become the main marketplace for corporate volunteering, not only in the Spanish capital but also at the national level.
This year, thanks to the support of the Botín Foundation, Voluntare brought the Volunteer Point experience to Seville. The event had the collaboration of Cajasol, which acted as the host in its Foundation’s space. In this first edition, 26 social entities presented their projects in brief 90-second interventions, seeking to attract the attention of the 15 participating companies and establish partnerships for future joint projects.
The ITURRI Foundation was present at the event to initiate contacts with other organizations in the sector and identify potential projects of interest, as well as volunteering opportunities.
The Volunteer Point reflects the spirit of being a meeting and networking place to promote collaboration towards a more sustainable society. The event not only marks the beginning of impact but also provides a summary document with information and contact details of the participating projects. This summary is a valuable tool for companies when designing their corporate volunteering programs.
It has been a pleasure to be present as a Foundation and enjoy a morning with other third-sector entities.
