On Friday, November 22nd, and Saturday, November 23rd, ITURRI volunteers joined the large food collect organized by the Seville Food Bank. Thanks to the generosity and effort of all participants, we managed to collect 3,500 kg of food at the Carrefour in Montequinto, Sevilla, breaking this supermarket’s collection record.
A special thank you to the 23 ITURRI members, along with their friends and family, who dedicated their time and energy to make this possible. Your commitment and solidarity are a true example of how together we can make a difference.
Founded in 1995, the Seville Food Bank works tirelessly to recover surplus food and distribute it to those most in need. Their mission is to meet the food needs of people in vulnerable situations in our community. Many families in Seville and across Spain are able to eat thanks to these collections.
