Saturday, October 5th, ITURRI Foundation had the privilege of participating in a volunteer day in collaboration with PRODEAN Foundation at their Social Center located in the Los Pajaritos neighborhood of Seville. The activity focused on accompanying elderly people on a cultural visit to Casa Pilatos.
PRODEAN Foundation, created in 1990, aims to improve the quality of life for people in vulnerable situations. It offers support to children, families, migrants, and especially the elderly, providing them with companionship, care, and recreational activities to promote their well-being and integration into society.
The day began at the PRODEAN Social Center, where the volunteers, ITURRI executives, received a warm welcome and a brief introduction to the foundation’s values and mission. Following this, the volunteers accompanied the elderly on a cultural visit to the emblematic Casa de Pilatos. During the tour, there were moments of conversation, laughter, and mutual enjoyment.
After the visit, the group headed to Alameda de Hércules, where they shared a relaxed afternoon at a terrace, chatting and having refreshments. It was a space of closeness and enjoyment that left unforgettable smiles and memories for both the volunteers and the elderly.
